101 Ideas For Making Disciples
This book was a great deal more than just a collection of issolated ideas. Kent Julian, a veteran youth worker (about my age) shares the “Why behind the “What” that he developed over the years. Many times the writing style led me to immagine I was sitting down under a tree with a diet coke talking to Kent saying things like” Yes, I did that event as well but with this spin, have you ever thought about adding…” As I think about the role this book might play in the greater youth ministry collection of resourses it appears to me it would be a perfect companion to Doug Field’s The First Two Years of Youth Ministry for beginners in ministry or as a refresher for a veteran youthworker trying to recapture a sense of the wonder of youth ministry done well and with intentionality.
